Sensei Brown is the head instructor. He started his training in October 1999 in Charlottetown. He received his 1st degree black belt from Sensei Higashi in 2002.He currently is ranked 5th degree black belt with a Shihan Instructors title in Chito Ryu. He also recently earned his forth degree black belt form Karate Canada. He is currently the kumite coach for Karate PEI.
He opened West River School of Karate in 2007 and is dedicated to teaching Chito Ryu to all Regardless of age. His classes and programs are suitable whether you are six or 85 years old. Whether you are in top physical conditioning or seeking to change your life style his classes can provide the challenge to succeed and reach your goals, whatever they may be.
He travels to many clinics on a regular basis in order to receive training to keep current on the evolution of Canadian Chito Ryu curriculum in order to bring it back to his students O Senseis teachings. (NCCP trained, First Aid)
Sensei Nicholson commenced Karate training in September 1995 in Charlottetown. He was awarded his 1st degree black belt from Higashi Sensei in July 2000.

She is currently is a fourth degree black belt with a Shihan instructors title in Canadian Chito Ryu.
